Bay Front Treasures Handmade Natural Soap and Candle Company is based in Beaufort, South Carolina and is an absolutely beautiful bayside community. We are surrounded by water, palm trees, shoreline wildlife and elegant Oak Trees, laden with Spanish Moss. Every year our historic town, as well as the surrounding areas of Savannah and Charleston is visited by thousands of tourists from around the United States as well as many other countries.
With this beautiful area as our backdrop, Bay Front Treasures sprouted as a Handmade Natural Soap and Candle Company. Before beginning our Soap Making venture, we spent hours researching the various properties of oils and their benefits. We began creating recipes and adjusting as we progressed. We eliminated oils that did not meet our standards. With countless hours of research and testing behind us, we have successfully created Handmade Natural Soap using quality ingredients. Our focus was on five main characteristics everyone wants in a bar of soap: Skin Softening, Moisturizing, Luxurious Lather, Perfect Hardness and Beautifully Fragrant. We created a blend of premium ingredients such as Olive Oil, Palm Kernel Flakes, Safflower Oil, Soybean Oil, Coconut Oil and Luxury Butters such as Mango Butter and Shea Butter. We use the same ingredients for our Goat Milk Soap and our Oatmeal Milk & Honey Soap. We also use Herbs, Ground Oatmeal, Essential Oils and wonderful fragrances to round out the recipes and the end result is a superb bar of wonderfully aromatic soap.
We worked just as diligently on our Candle line. We tested various types of wax available such as Soy, Paraffin and Palm. Again, after countless hours of testing wax, wick and fragrance combinations, we have created a blend of both Soy and Paraffin. This combination has been perfected to assure a candle that is beautiful in appearance, clean burning and has a wonderful scent throw. The end result is a candle we can stand behind and one you will truly enjoy.
